Post-Game Coverage:

The Colts offense founds its legs and the Colts outlasted the Tennessee Titans 30-28 on Thursday night. In pre-game interviews, the Colts listed containing the run, eliminating turnovers, and running the ball as keys to beating the Titans. How’d they do?

Pre-Game Objectives:

  1. Contain the run (CJ) – Chris Johnson averaged five yards per carry in accumulating 111 total yards. Holding arguably the best running back in the NFL to 111 is pretty darned good for this defense. Grade: B+
  2. Eliminate turnovers – ZERO… that’s a beautiful number. Grade: A
  3. Run the ball – 87 yards. When was the last time you were excited about 87 total running yards? I was last night. Javarris James provided a nice counter punch to Donald Brown. Grade: B-

Too high? Too low? What do you think?

  2. Eliminate turnovers
  3. Run the ball
